Miley Cyrus may have snagged north of 900,000 Instagram likes as she modeled a mesh minidress back in January 2022, but her photo caused plenty of drama. Rocking the mesh-netted trend as she highlighted her toned figure for an edgy shot, the 31-year-old added an extra twist as she revealed that sister Noah Cyrus had styled her look, but users weren’t commenting on the fashion as they left rather nasty remarks on The Daily Mail‘s coverage of the upload.
In bizarre responses, users lashed out at Miley, suggesting she suffers from poor hygiene. Multiple fans suggested that the pop star “needs a wash,” with it very much looking like this photo had attracted the biggest ever set of trolls.

Striking an open-mouthed pose from a hallway, Miley placed one hand on a nearby wall as she drew the eye to her enviable silhouette.
Going skimpy in a sleeveless, leggy minidress made entirely of black mesh fabrics, the former Disney star embraced the fishnet trend. She went sheer but stayed safe as she rocked a matching black two-piece beneath her dress.
Flaunting her gym-honed legs and slim waist while offering up an ab flash, Miley wore chunky black boots and black socks to complete her look, one accessorized by black shades. Wearing her blonde locks down as she rocked bangs, Miley highlighted her many tattoos. In a caption, she shouted out her 24-year-old sibling, writing: “Styled by @noahcyrus.”
Fans Saying She Needs To ‘Wash’
Sister Noah quickly left a like. So did athlete Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes.
The Daily Mail proved a different story, though. While over 100 fans liked a comment saying that Cyrus looks both “grubby” and “unclean,” another user said: “She looks like she needs a good wash.”
The most-liked comment brought another celebrity into the mix, but the sentiment was still echoing what other users had said. “Both her and Pete Davidson have something in common..they look like they need a wash,” the hater wrote.
Miley may face trolling, but the Gucci ambassador is more than having the last laugh. It’s been well over a year since her January 2023-released “Flowers” track propelled her to a new level of music domination. The chart-topping single is now the longest-lasting no.1 track in Billboard‘s Adult Contemporary Chart’s music history. It also earned Miley her very first Grammy earlier this year.
In March 2023, Cyrus dropped her Endless Summer Vacation album, one including popular hits “Jaded” and “Used to be Young.”
