We both know that fishing rods are of utmost importance in Fisch, as is the bait, but there are several other essential Roblox items you should immediately put on your to-do list. For example, did you know you can see where certain schools of fish are? Did you know there’s a proper way to swim underwater? Or change the weather? Unless you know how to find these essential items in Roblox Fisch, you’re more or less fishing with one arm.
[Updated January 31st – Expanded on the list to include new items added in recent updates.]
Diving Gear and Flippers

With the ocean being a dangerous, scary place and spending a minute in the water can kill you, having Diving Gear in Roblox Fisch is essential. This is less about giving you more time to swim in the ocean and more about using it to access underwater areas, like the Desolate Deep, the trials in Atlantis, and hidden fishing zones.
Luckily, it’s relatively cheap, at just $3,000, and it only needs to be bought once. You can buy the Basic Diving Gear on Moosewood Island, right in front of the Shipwright there. There’s also a better version, the Advanced Diving Gear, which you can buy for $15,000 at these coordinates: -785, 133, -3102. That places you in the ocean, just above the Desolate Deep.
Speaking of which, the Desolate Deep is also home to the Flippers, Super Flippers, and the Tidebreaker, which is an underwater scooter. It’ll all make swimming underwater way easier, especially if you’re hunting Treasure Maps.
Fish Radar and GPS

Speaking of coordinates, having the Fish Radar and GPS are a must. With the GPS, you’ll gain the ability to see your coordinates. It’s pretty useful for sharing your favorite fishing spots with others. The GPS costs a measly $100 on Moosewood, as well as Mushgrove Swamp.
However, the better of the two is the Fish Radar, which actually shows you spawn locations of specific fish. Incredibly helpful when you’re trying to fish for rare fish or if you’re trying to complete one of the Angler’s quests. It costs $8,000 and you’ll find it on most of the main islands, like Moosewood and Sunstone Island.
Unique Fishing Rods and Gear

There are three fishing rods, plus the Crab Cage, you should make a beeline for as soon as possible:
- Crab Cages
- Wisdom Rod
- Magnet Rod
- Reinforced Rod
The reason is that they make life in Roblox Fisch a little easier. The Magnet Rod is perfect for fishing Quality Bait Crates (Sunstone Island is a good spot) and can be bought on Terrapin Island, and the Reinforced Rod lets you fish in the Brine Pools and Roslit Volcano, which is bought in the Desolate Deep.
The Crab Cage and Wisdom Rod, which is crafted, are for farming XP and crafting materials. Using the Flimsy Rod and Crab Cages together, you can quickly rack of crafting materials, like Magic Thread. You can find Crab Cages are just about every island, near Merchants.
Totems

Totems are essential for changing the weather in Roblox Fisch, for the sake of creating the perfect environments for specific fish and fill out the bestiary. Colossal Squid, for example, are a popular option to fish for because they sell really well, but they only appear at night and when it’s foggy.
In total, there are 11 types of totems in Roblox Fisch and are priced between $2,000 to the most expensive one, the Zeus Storm Totem, at 1.5 million! Note that some also help you access content, like the Eclipse and Sundial Totems being useful for unlocking crafting in the game.
Gliders

When you reach the Desolate Deep, that isn’t the end of the journey. You can head further in, to find the Brine Pools. I mentioned the Brine Pools early, which can only be fished using the Reinforced Rod. However, the Brine Pools are inaccessible without the Glider.
Luckily, it’s a cheap purchase and you don’t have to do anything crazy to get it. Just go to Roslit Bay and speak with Ashe, the NPC there, by the Angler. He’s a little further past the docks, in a little camp. They’ll sell the Glider for $900. Oh, and you can use it anywhere, not just to reach the Brine Pools.
Additionally, there’s a better version, the Advanced Glider, obtainable on the mountains of the Northern Expedition. You’ll have to climb the mountains to Camp 5 to buy it for a measly $2,500.
Oxygen Tank and Winter Cloak

Speaking of the Northern Expedition, the only way you’re ever going to make it to each base camp is with an oxygen tank and the Winter Cloak. Climbing the mountain will drain your oxygen and temperature. Like the diving gear, both items will slow the rate down.
Also like the diving gear, there are different versions: Basic, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Basic Oxygen Tank is at the first camp, with the better versions at subsequent base camps. You won’t be able to buy the Winter Cloak until you reach the 3rd base camp.
Not only are both items essential for reaching the top of the Northern Expedition, you’ll need them if you hope to complete the bestiary and unlock the Heaven’s Rod.
Exalted and Enchant Relics

Enchanting become exceedingly important as you unlock more and more powerful fishing rods. They can dramatically enhance a fishing rod’s strengths even further or bolster its weaker aspects.
For example, the Flimsy Rod—your very first fishing rod—may be useless after your first upgrade, but can be very helpful for finding crafting materials. It just needs a Luck enchantment!
Exalted Relics offer some of the best enchantments, but Enchant Relics are easier to obtain (and can be bought from Merlin).
