Titans showrunner Greg Walker talked with TVLine about the showโ€™s first season, varying from his favorite moments to where season two would take the characters. Walker revealed that the first season was slated to have 12 episodes, but they ultimately decided to save the final episode for the season two premiere:

โ€œWeโ€™re cannibalizing some of the stuff from Episode 12 [for the premiere]. We thought it was such a good cliffhanger at the end of 11, and we wanted to go for an even bigger, better Season 2 opener. We had a big idea, and our friends at DC bought it.

โ€œYeah. Itโ€™s really fun to be able to you know where weโ€™re going to go with it. Weโ€™re going to also use [the Season 2 premiere] to launch a new villain, and because Trigonโ€™s role in canon is so huge, we felt like we really needed to give him a really big episode, the kind you can launch a season with.โ€

Along with that, Titans season two will also feature the introduction of Superboy AKA Conner Kent. In a separate interview, this time with Entertainment Weekly, Walker had this to say about Superboyโ€™s introduction into Titans season two:

โ€œItโ€™s still brewing. What I can say is that we still want to take the same dimensionalized and psychologically grounded approach that we do with the other characters and apply that same pressure to Conner Kent and see what shakes out when you put a character like that through that test. You know, questions of identity, questions of powers, questions of your place in the universe. These are all questions that are interesting for any kind of Superman character, and are really interesting for Conner.โ€

What were your thoughts on Titans season one? Those outside of the U.S, are you planning on watching the series when it hits Netflix in January? Let us know in the comments below!
