The battle between Prince Harry and King Charles continues as he pleads with the U.K. government to get protection for his wife, Meghan Markle, and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. After all, “Why would he bring his wife and children back to the U.K. if they are not going to be protected?” a royal correspondent tells The Daily Beast. The insider believes that the existence of a “debate around the Sussexes’ security is unbelievable.” However, many believe they had this coming — in fact, it was their own doing.
A comment in the r/SaintMeghanMarkle subreddit claims that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle knew this would happen when they revoked their royalty status:

One top commenter believes that the Sussexes are using this “fuss and noise” to “steer the narrative of big things happening behind the scenes.” Whatever the case, it’s clear that Prince Harry isn’t too keen on backing down from this endeavor, as he’s more than certain that “the threat is very real. He needs protection.“
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Stand Against Online Bullying Backfires
But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren’t stopping at simply demanding physical protection from the Palace. They also want to take a stand on online bullying for their children’s sake to prevent possible thoughts or attempts of suicide. In an interview with CBS, Harry finds it “terrifying” that, these days, “every parent needs to be a first responder be able to tell the signs of possible suicide [in their children]. Of course, he is referring to the heavy online backlash he and his wife have been receiving, saying it might eventually affect Archie and Lilibet.
As of writing, over 90% of the like-to-dislike ratio of the CBS YouTube clip of the interview is ‘thumbs down.’ It’s not too hard to see how ironic viewers see regarding this interview and the Sussexes’ situation. “The unending false victimhood grift” and “never ending victimhood” are two of the top comments, but things gets worse, as the ex-royals get called out:
