Square Enix has dropped a newย gameplay trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Dubbed the “101” trailer, it acts as a crash course in getting you up to date with what the protagonist Adam Jensen has been doing since theย events that occurredย duringย Human Revolution.ย Jensen is now working for Interpol’s counter-terrorism unit hoping to find the answers to “the incident” that transpired during and after the Human Revolutionย timeline.ย His search for answers has brought him to Prague, but that looks to be one of many locations.ย At a whopping six minutes, the trailer shows all of the different gameplay approaches a player can take in a single scenario.
The cyber augment’s Jensen received inย the last game were “hiding cutting edge experimental augments,” according to a new face in the trailer. Meaning Jensen is going to have a few more tricks up his sleeve this time around. The preview shows an ability that covers Adam entirely in armor, making him the equivalent of an armored tank. His signature armย blades can now beย launched to distract enemies, as well as explode. The trailer also shows off some weapons meant to pacify the enemies in the game. It looks like everything we’ve wanted from Human Revolution and then some.

But what heโs really after are the Illuminati: the men and women who are always pulling the strings. His investigation will take you around the world, with the decisions you make and the actions you take playing a crucial role in determining the gameโs outcome.
