This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Outer Worlds 2 is happening, as Obsidian Entertainment has released a very short and meta teaser for the game on Xbox, which you can see down below:

Those who have played and completed The Outer Worlds probably have a bunch of questions about this sequel, including if you will be playing as your old character. Obsidian revealed that this new sequel will take place in a brand-new star system with a brand-new crew.

We at The Nerd Stash gave The Outer Worlds a 4 out of 5, praising its charming dialogue and narrative. Here’s a brief excerpt from our review:

The Outer Worlds is a game that feels familiar and different all at the same time, which makes sense considering the pedigree of the developer and the talent attached to this game. If you love Fallout: New Vegas, you’ll definitely get similar feelings here. The genre’s tropes and flaws are here, for better and worse. The Outer Worlds offers a deep world, engaging side quests, and quirky dialogue that make for an overall package that’s worth your time and effort.”

Are you excited for The Outer Worlds 2’s Xbox reveal? What grade would you give Xbox and Bethesda’s E3 2021 conference? Let us know in the comments! Also, be sure to stay tuned to The Nerd Stash for more coverage on all the announcements from Ubisoft Forward, E3 2021, and any other events over the next week.
