This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

After a very successful first season, Oshi no Ko released its first visual for Season 2 during the Ichigo Production Fan Appreciation Festival 2023. In addition, anime fans also got a release window for the show’s next season, which will continue with Aqua’s quest to discover the identity of the person behind her mother’s demise. The first season ended on a high note, with Ruby and her fellow idols finally making their way to the stage and performing in public for the first time.

Oshi no Ko Season 2 Will Premiere in 2024, According to the New Visual

If you didn’t know, the first season covered most of the events up to Chapter 40 of the manga, meaning the second season might adapt things from that chapter onwards. Due to the recent teaser, it is safe to say this season will focus on the play in which Aqua, Kane, and Akane will participate. Still, we’ll have to wait more to see what’s in store for other characters, such as Ruby and MEM-cho.

There’s still little information regarding Oshi no Ko‘s Season 2, but we can’t wait. This show was truly one of the year’s best hits due to its story, which depicts the reality of the entertainment business in Japan, the challenging lives of idols and actors, and more. Besides, this anime has some well-written characters that still have much to tell. So, let’s hope the new season premieres during the first months of 2024.

In the meantime, the Fall 2023 anime season is still ongoing, and it has some great shows. Jujutsu Kaisen is reaching the end of its Shibuya Incident arc, and other new shows like Apothecary Diaries are taking the world by storm. Overall, it is a great time to be a fan of this medium, and next year will bring even better things.
