Sony and Playstation have announced a massive drop of games coming to their subscription gaming service PlayStation Now (PS Now).

2016 is going to be an incredible year for the PlayStation Now community. To kick things off, we’re adding more than 40 PS3 console exclusives to the expanding library of games.

Announced on Tuesday, the games will include quite a few heavy hitters and AAA games. While some of the titles are a bit mislabeled, seeing as their available for PS4 already, it’s still a pretty extensive list. The trailer below highlights just a few of those big games like Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Heavenly Sword, and God of War: Chains of Olympus. Buried in the large list of games are other gems like Killzone 2, Killzone HD, Pixel Junk Monsters Encore, The Unfinished Swan, Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus and Flower just to name a few.

Obviously, this is another way to get the subscription base up. PS Now has heard some harsh feedback since its release because of its fairly hefty price tag for the streaming rental service. Recently the service has introduced an annual subscription option for $99.99USD. While it seems like a steep price tag there are, as they say, 300+ games available at that price with no limit on when or how you play them. Included in that are the 40+ released today and 100 overall from the PS3 library. Unfortunately if you’re not one to have a quick “trigger finger,” the 12-month plan will only be available until January 11th.

Does this expanded list encourage you to take the plunge? Any titles that stand out that may have swayed your choice? Let us know below!
