Last year, the mother of two showed her fondness for a longtime friend by rocking a Britney-inspired look for Halloween, and proving she had her back even at her lowest. At the time, Paris opted for a blue flight attendant costume Britney wore in the music video of her song, Toxic. She also moved to her friend’s song, Gimme More in a shared clip, voicing the signature intro, “It’s Britney, bitch.”
One year after sending fans wild with the elaborate nod to Britney Spears, Paris Hilton is honoring her friend once again, with a more iconic Halloween costume. This time, the 43-year-old opted for the high school girl look from the music video of Britney’s debut single, One More Time.
Paris Hilton Adds a Modern Touch to Britney Spears-Inspired Halloween Costume
The iconic track, which turned 26 this month, saw Britney Spears dressed in sexy school wear featuring an open shirt tied up to expose her abs and a red bra worn underneath. Over it, she rocked a grey jacket and black miniskirt paired with grey thigh-high socks and black shoes.
The high school-themed track shot its way to number 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 shortly after its 1998 release, quickly popularizing the look in the nineties. Paris Hilton is bringing back the iconic getup hotter and more daring, switching things up a little for her 2024 Britney Spears-inspired Halloween costume. For her version, rather than a black wraparound miniskirt, Paris opted for a thigh-skimming pleated skirt in gray. She also switched up Britney’s grey stockings for a dark sheer stocking giving it a modern touch.
Fans Commend Paris’ Nod to Britney Spears
Aside from these little changes though, the star kept everything else pretty much the same. Paris Hilton shared a handful of videos and photos on Instagram, showcasing her Britney Spears-inspired Halloween costume. Via caption, the hotel heiress declared her love for her pal. She also recreated some scenes from the music video in another post, using her makeshift high school background, complete with a line of pink lockers. She captioned the post,
“It’s Britney Bitch 💋❤️🔥 How did I do @BritneySpears? 😘 #ThatsHot #Halloween 🎃 #IconsOnly 💫.”
Fans flocked into the comment section with hearty responses to the post, letting Paris know she ate the look and left no crumbs. Praising the star’s outfit choice, one fan wrote,
“One thing about Paris is she going to show love to Britney no matter what.”
