However, her recent move to give fans a glimpse into her life as a parent was met with backlash. Luckily, Hilton knows a thing or two about killing with kindness.
Earlier this week, the hotel heiress treated her fans to a sweet video of her son Phoenix. In the TikTok, the little one was seen parading unsteadily around a catamaran while Ed Sheeran’s Photograph played in the background. The toddler, who donned a wine two-piece, explored all areas of the huge yacht. “Watching Phoenix explore the world has been so special to me! 🥹✨ I am so grateful to be a #SlivingMom 💖✨,” Hilton captioned the post. While many celebrated seeing Phoenix live his best life, others expressed concern that he wasn’t wearing a lifejacket or any sort of floatation device. “Momma, please have him wear a life jacket always on a boat!! Stuff happens. That’s why they’re called accidents,” one fan urged. Another similar comment read, “Please from one mom to another.. life jacket!” A third fan wrote:

This isn’t the first time Hilton has been faced backlash for her parenting skills. During Memorial Day weekend in May, the socialite took Phoenix for a swimming lessons. She shared a video of the experience on TikTok and Phoenix was seen splashing in the pool excitedly, with a blue puddle jumper strapped across his chest. The proud mom, who donned a black fishnet top and matching headband, safely carried Phoenix while guiding him through the water. “Adventures with Baby P,” she captioned the cute clip.
However, the comment section soon turned into a debate with some fans pointing how that she wore the puddle jumper the wrong way. “Hey momma, just a tip from another puddle jumper Mom. I think it’s on backwards. But I love this video pure joy,” one fan wrote. Rather than respond defensively, Hilton took fans’ concerns to heart like she did recently. She responded, “Oops! Thank you! I never let him out of my arms. thought it was backwards too, I said that to the person who I bought it from & they said it was on right. But thank you so much for letting me know.“
