Hopes of Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet making their red carpet debut at the premiere of his Bob Dylan biopic have been smashed. One of the actor’s biggest 2024 projects, A Complete Unknown, is set to premiere next month. However, Chalamet allegedly has no intention of walking the red carpet with Jenner, even though they have been together for almost two years.
Per sources, Chalamet was advised to leave the reality star at home and attend the event solo. The biopic is a big deal for Chalamet, who not only stars as Dylan but is also a producer. It would make sense for Jenner to be there for her boyfriend’s special moment. Unfortunately, the actor’s team doesn’t think so. The informant explained to InTouch Weekly:
“Timmyโs team wants the focus to be on him and the transformation he underwent for the role, not Kylie.”
While the optics of an absent Jenner on the red carpet don’t look good, the cosmetic mogul isn’t bothered. She is reportedly understanding of the arrangement. “Thatโs not to say she wonโt be able to attend the afterparties with him,” the source added. The Dune star and the KUWTK alum have been an item since April 2023, shortly after her relationship with baby daddy Travis Scott ended.
The pair started things off super lowkey and have remained that way for the most part of their relationship. However, Chalamet and Jenner have had public moments together, including Beyoncรฉ’s 2023 Renaissance concert and the 2023 US Open. Their biggest outing together to date was the 2024 Golden Globes in January. Although they attended the award show as a couple, they didn’t walk the red carpet as one, ELLE reports.

The news of Kylie Jenner not attending the premiere has fans’ panties in a bunch. Many have reached their breaking point. They don’t understand the dynamics of their relationship anymore.
“If he doesn’t take her to the premiere, he probably won’t take her to any awards ceremony either. This is getting more and more pathetic,” one comment read. “How fake and idiotic do you have to be not to take your girlfriend to such an important event?“
