Patrick Mahomes is officially on the Taylor Swift bandwagon! In a recent interview, the Chief’s QB1 gushed over Travis Kelce’s girlfriend. Mahomes loves that the pop star is “down to earth.” Patrick held a lengthy talk, making a case for Taylor to be on Time’s most influential people list for 2023. The Super Bowl MVP had nothing but nice things to say about the singer and his long-time teammate.
According to TMZ, Patrick said that Taylor is probably the most chill celebrity he has met. However, just because she is laid-back does not mean she is lazy. Mahomes raved about Swiftโs work ethic and dedication. He was also impressed with how fast she picked up Football.
Patrick Mahomes Is on Board With Taylor Swift
“Even when she’s talking about football,” he said, “when she’s learning it, you can see her business mind putting it together. It’s almost like she’s trying to become a coach. ‘Why can’t you try this, this, and this?’ She’s asking the right questions.”
Patrick Mahomes then shut down any rumors that Taylor Swift caused some of the Kansas City Chiefs’ struggles in the regular season. Mahomes says that the team actually embraced all the newfound fans they received, thanks to Taylor. Brittney Mahomes has also gotten very close to Taylor, as they spent many cold Chiefs games together in their box seats.
This is not the first time QB1 has wayed in on his friendโs relationship. Earlier in the season, Patrick Mahomes had some words about the two. When asked if he thought Travis had been acting differently since he started dating Taylor Swift, he denied these claims.
Patrick said that Travis is still the guy who talks to everyone like they’re his best friend and that nothing could change that. It’s safe to say that Patrick is on board with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift and that he is happy for his friend and teammate.
