The Dirty Ice mission was straightforward to complete staying in stealth. On the Overkill difficulty, doing everything unnoticed will be more challenging, so you’ll have to try to take the jewelry store by force. Next, we will show you how to complete the Dirty Ice heist on Overkill difficulty in Payday 3. Before you take the store by force, you will still need to perform a few stealthy actions to complete the task faster. Below, we’ve described all the necessary steps to complete this task.

Before you start the heist, we recommend dividing the roles between your partners. Here’s how we recommend doing it:

  • 2 players – deal with the task and opening the locked rooms.
  • 1 player – responsible for tracking the guards and fighting off the first wave of cops if they arrive.
  • 1 player – responsible for taking hostages and keeping them under control. They will also help the player who is responsible for security to fight off the first wave of police.

If you’re playing alone, you’ll have to stick to a more stealthy mode so that the authorities don’t arrive too quickly, and you don’t have problems with robbery and escape. So, once you’ve learned the basics, you can start a heist.

Disable the Alarm System

The first thing to start with is, of course, disabling the alarm system and security cameras. This is not difficult to do and must be done before anyone notices you. To achieve this, you will need to get into the basement of the building, which is not so easy because you need a PIN code.

It’s not hard to get the PIN, but it requires you to be stealthy. Head to the right side of the building, to the alleyway, where you’ll find a guard with a blue key card and a van that will take you to the second floor of the building through a window. Steal the key card, then enter the window to move along the corridor to the manager’s office. Once inside, interact with the computer to find out where the PIN code is located, there are basically 3 places, namely:

  • In the “Employee of the Month” frame: located on the front of the store.
  • On the board where the “WiFi Password” is written: it is located in the break room.
  • In the book: located in the VIP Showroom.

While you are doing this, have your partners find the QR code to enter the VIP showroom. It is not difficult to find it, you will get it from the phone that is lying somewhere on the outside. This will be useful if there is no password in the break room or in the frame, and will also provide you with access to more loot. Once you have the password, go down to the basement to open the door to complete the task.

Once in the basement, unlock the cameras using the blue keycard. Now explore the basement to find a safe and a lever next to it. Use the lever to disable the alarm and take the red keycard to the left of the safe. Once you’ve completed all of these steps, you should end the stealth mode.

Quick Robbery

When you have completed all of the above steps, you can proceed to the second part of the heist. Since you put on masks to be able to jump through the window, all you have to do is make noise and take hostages.

First, find the store manager to gain access to the Jewelry Workshop. She is dressed in a blue suit and stands out from the rest. While you are doing this, let the other gang members take as many hostages as possible so that no one calls the police. If someone calls the police, act as quickly as possible and prepare for an attack.

Once you find the manager, quickly take her to the Jewelry Workshop door and throw her against the biometric scanner to open it. If the police aren’t on their way, quickly rob the place together and take the bags to the truck.

Next, use the QR code to enter the VIP showroom and loot everything there. If the police arrive, try to move all the hostages to the second floor to gain an advantage. If you do this, you can throw grenades at the authorities while they are trying to storm you, without any civilian casualties because they are all with you.

After robbing the VIP showroom, use the red keycard to enter the vault. To achieve this, you need someone else from the team to enter the manager’s office and press the button on the table at the same time as you use the red keycard. If you are playing alone, then force the manager to press the button. Once inside, loot everything as fast as you can and run away before they start to storm you.
