Touch The Sky is the eighth and final heist available to you in Payday 3. If you decide to take this mission, you will find yourself in the penthouse of a wealthy man named Mason. In this guide, you will learn how to complete Touch The Sky in stealth mode in Payday 3. It can be quite difficult because the penthouse is small, but filled with a bunch of guards patrolling every step on your way. If you follow our instructions, you shouldn’t have any problems completing this mission successfully.
So when you start the mission, you’ll be right inside the penthouse. You can’t explore it freely, so immediately put on your mask and head to the door to the right of the corridor, which will lead you to the stairs. Climb the stairs until you reach the vent and climb inside, following the linear path to the end.
Use the last hatch in the vent to get into the Secure Area room without being noticed and continue your task safely. Go around the room, and find a corner with two doors, and enter the one on the left. Once you’re out of it, make sure there are no guards nearby, then move to the right to find the Master Bedroom. Interact with the small terminal near the door to start the next task of hacking the Wi-Fi.
How to Hack Wi-Fi and Unlock Master Bedroom
When you interact with the terminal near the Master Bedroom, you will see that the mission progress bar on the top left will indicate a lane that needs to be filled. To do this, you’ll need to move around the penthouse and stand within the small, circled area. Usually, they are randomly placed, but this way, you can hack the Wi-Fi.
While you and your team are searching for the necessary zones, you will have the opportunity to fully explore the building and find out the location of the cameras and the trajectory of the security guards. So, while you’re at it, find a Head Guard who has a phone that you need to hack as well. Go up to him and kill him, or quietly scan all the necessary information to get the QR code you need later. Once you do that, you can continue on.
Find the Switch for the Vault
So, when you get access to the Master Bedroom, first go inside and interact with the books on the shelf under the TV. One of them is the switch that will provide you with access to the vault.
When you do this, the wall will slide open, and you will see the next obstacle on your way, namely a terminal with a PIN code that you need to find. If you followed our recommendations and got the QR code by hacking the Head Guard phone, doing this will be much easier.
Move to the filing room, we can’t tell you exactly where it is because with each restart of the mission, the location changes. Luckily, you can figure out where it is by looking at the red terminal next to the door, which requires a QR code. Once inside, check all the drawers for the keycard. When you do, go to the top floor of the building to enter Mason’s office and press the Panic Room button on the left under the desk. This will open another wall, and behind it, a large metal door with access only through a bioscanner. You need to gain access to this room, which is the most difficult part of the task.
How To Access Panic Room
Entering the Panic Room is not easy, as you need to scan the face of Mason Laurent himself. Fortunately, in this case, you can also do everything in stealth mode. Your main goal will be to poison the homeowner’s whiskey, which was recently brought to him by a courier. To achieve this, you need to do the following:
- Go to the first floor and find a toilet there, which is located near the statue of golden heads.
- Inside the toilet will be a bottle of poison, pick it up.
- Go to the kitchen where on one of the tables there is a whiskey and a bell.
- Poison the whiskey and ring the bell.
This way, the whiskey will fall into Mason’s hands. He will drink it and feel sick, forcing him to go to the bathroom. This is where your star moment comes in.
When he’s in the bathroom, go inside and take him hostage. Using him as a human shield lead them to the office where the biometric scanner is located, but don’t forget about the guards. Once you lead him to the office, throw him against the biometric scanner to open the Panic Room.
Once inside, you’ll notice a whiteboard and 4-digit codes on it. One of them will be the password to the vault in the bedroom. Memorize all of them, then go to the bedroom and look at the fingerprints on the terminal to see which code is correct. Inside you will find a safe that you can open by playing a mini-game. When you open it, take the disk and take it back to the office to insert it into the computer and start decrypting it. During this time, you can carry the bags of money and other loot you found in the penthouse. When the download on the computer is successful, take the disk and run away.
