Prince Harry recently celebrated his 40th birthday. Surprisingly, he may have decided to do something fun and a bit wild to commemorate the milestone event. The Duke of Sussex was reportedly seen spending time at a New York City tattoo parlor just days after his birthday. It’s unclear if the royal got any ink of his own, and Meghan Markle didn’t seem to be in attendance. However, fans are going crazy about the possibility of what Harry may have gotten tattooed on himself.
The Daily Mail reports that Prince Harry was seen on the lower east side of NYC on Wednesday. He hit up a tattoo parlor, East Side Ink, while there, where he spent about an hour inside. Nearly every move that Harry makes is publicized. However, the shop’s owner, Josh Lord, refused to confirm or deny whether or not Harry left his establishment with any ink.

“I couldn’t tell you anything about anyone that stopped by without their permission. We would respect anyone’s privacy in the exact same way,” Lord told the outlet. “A tattoo is a deeply personal choice…. anything that happens here is your private moment,” he added.
Over the years, East Side Ink has reportedly turned into a spot where celebrities have come to get ink. “On any given day, you might find your favorite actor or musician getting tattooed right next to neighborhood regulars,” their website boasts.
Meanwhile, fans had plenty of ideas about what Prince Harry may have chosen if he did get a tattoo at the shop.
“He should get a tattoo of Queen Elizabeth II, to remind him of what a true strong, thoughtful, logical responsible and emotionally stable person she was, who had the highest regard for family and citizens of the world,” one person commented.
“So many tattoo options. A bowling pin and the word Spare. A ball and chain around his ankle. An inspirational banana,” stated another.
“Ah yes, the ever classic midlife crisis tattoo. Probably a picture of his mom’s hand cream surrounded by a crown. Or maybe just “Kate” in a place Meghan no longer looks at,” a third person quipped.
“Yup. Harry’s midlife crisis has started. With the tats, next stop is the Harley dealer. Then he’ll go to the Whiskey and try and hang out with Slash and Tommy Lee,” a fourth comment read.
Prince Harry has not spoken out about the rumors that he got a tattoo in New York City shortly after his 40th birthday. However, he is known as the rebel of the royal family. So, fans likely wouldn’t be surprised if he did get some sort of ink during his east coast trip.
