Good news for the science fiction television series revival ofย Quantum Leap, there will be six more episodes for the first season. There will be 18 total episodes for the revival. It’s now the number 1 series for the 18-49 demographic. The science fiction television series revival debuted on September 19 on Peacock. Dr. Sam Beckett’s (played by Scott Bakula in the original series) Quantum Leap accelerator project has been restarted. Dr. Ben Song (Raymond Song) is now doing what Beckett once did. In addition to starring Raymond Lee, it also stars Ernie Hudson, Caitlin Bassett, Mason Alexander Park, and Nanrisa Lee. Martin Gero, Dean Georgaris, Don Bellisario, Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Steven Lilien, and Bryan Wynbrandt are executive producers for it. Universal Television producesย Quantum Leap and its additional episodes. Not all television revivals get approved much less extended in their first season. This is a good sign.

Raymond Lee Starts Off the Revival on the Right Foot

Raymond Lee plays Dr. Ben Song in the science fiction revival television series "Quantum Leap".

Sure, many loved the many adventures of Dr. Sam Beckett, but now fans can watch Dr. Ben Song’s adventures. Raymond Lee has been able to recapture audiences for the science fiction television revival series. It’s already popular and Quantum Leap gets to keep telling its story for more episodes. Raymond Lee starred in Kevin Can Go F**ck Himself,ย Mozart in the Jungle, andย Here and Now. He has also been able to grace the stage at the Manhattan Theatre Club. This is the first major leading role for Lee. It goes beyond just good special effects and a different storyline to draw in audiences. It takes a compelling protagonist, which Raymond Lee provides. It’s no small feat thatย Quantum Leap has more episodes coming. The revival of the science fiction television series is doing well so far and is the most popular NBC series on Peacock.

You can catch up onย Quantum Leap on Peacock.
