I don’t think anyone is a fan of Karens, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t funny. There are some Karen situations where you can’t help but laugh at their antics and responses. A similar situation took place in Connecticut when a racist Karen was throwing a fit over a parking spot. She went to her neighbors to complain about their parking spot, claiming that they were blocking her driveway. Her poor husband is standing next to her, wishing that he wasn’t even there as he tells her, “Calm down.” Of course, she doesn’t listen. Again, he tells her, “Go,” and she still keeps arguing with her neighbors.
Karen’s response when she saw that they were filming her was “Grow up.” I mean, you are the one who is throwing a fit. The owners keep telling her that she is embarrassing her husband and herself, but she doesn’t seem to care. She gets more upset when they tell her “Learn how to drive.” This comes after she asks them, “When we back into you whose fault is it gonna be?” By now, you are wondering what the parking spot looks like, especially since the Connecticut Karen seems pretty upset. Thankfully, you don’t have to wonder longer as the neighbors go to show you what she is complaining about.
What Happens Next?
A great interaction on their way to the car takes place when the cameraman calls her Karen. She didn’t like that because she said “My ass” and called the guy’s ass fat. She was so angry that when he said “A fat juicy ass” her response was “Yeah it is” in agreement. You finally see what all the fuss is about, and you realize that Karen is a great way to describe her. The neighbors’ car is across the street, away from her driveway, with a lot of space for her to back up. You know what is really blocking her car? Her husband’s Jeep.
The guy keeps repeating that it is “Street parking” and instead of letting it go she tells him “F**k you.” Finally, her innocent husband pushes her away and says, “Let’s go.” She dares to tell him, “Don’t embarrass me,” when she was the one embarrassing both of them. During the entire situation, you also notice that she is racist as well. She says things such as: “You are turning it into Bridgeport,” “The house looks like ghetto,” and “You have a two-bedroom house. You have 20 people living here.” She asks again how many people are living in the house and says “It’s not f**king Bridgeport.” So she is a Karen and also a racist. Pick a struggle.
People Reacting to the Connecticut Racist Karen
Of course, people dragged the Connecticut Karen. A lot of the comments showed sympathy toward her poor husband because of how embarrassed he was. If I had to deal with her every single day, I would be annoyed too. One person points out that “he is so over her.” The sympathy comments kept coming in:
@Ace’s Ivory: “her husband is so embarrassed.”
@Whisperingsails: “He needs to walk away from this relationship.”
@flowerfresh80: “That poor man. He clearly doesn’t want to be there.”
Others focused on how racist the Connecticut Karen was being. “She was blowing ALL the racist dog whistles- ‘ghetto’, ‘turning it into Bridgeport’, ‘lots of ppl living in the house’- non of it her business…..,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “‘Looks like ghetto’ she’s trying so hard to be hateful.” Another person pointed out how the neighbor mentioned Karen’s daughter in the post, telling her to come get her. So now I feel sorry for both her husband and her daughter. However, just like you would expect, some people took Karen’s side. “I mean, it does look bad. I’d be not thrilled at a house like that,” one woman wrote. It’s their house, not yours. The only good thing here was Karen’s poor husband finally pushing her away.
