In the wake of the news, the 47-year-old celebrity has taken to various social media platforms to voice his frustrations.
Ja Rule Denied Entry Into the UK
Ja Rule is no stranger to controversy, but a recent challenge regarding his tour has left him crying out in frustration. On Tuesday, the rap icon took to X and Instagram to share the disappointing news with fans. In the post, Ja Rule revealed he had been denied entry into the UK before his upcoming tour.
“I’m so devastated I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in,” he noted.
The rapper further explained that it was heartbreaking to be denied entry days before the show after spending $500,000 in production to put the tour together. According to Ja Rule, it was unfair to him and his fans, as the venues were already 85 percent sold out.
A few minutes later, the Mesmerize crooner shared a follow-up post explaining his entry denial. According to Ja Rule, it was all because of his criminal record.
“The UK is one of the few European countries that restrict entry to people with criminal records,” he wrote.
“In general, you will likely be denied entry if you have been convicted of a crime punishable by 23 months or more under British law or served more than 12 months in prison. This…🤬,” Ja Rule concluded.
Fans Erupt With Mixed Reactions to Ja Rule’s Outcry
Shortly after Ja Rule voiced out on X, The Shade Room reposted the tweet on Instagram, igniting many mixed reactions from fans. Some fans noted that Ja Rule and his team were to blame for not properly checking the UK’s entry rules.
“His team failed on that. They supposed to know this,” a fan wrote.
