The team behind Remothered: Broken Porcelain released a terrifying gameplay trailer along with an official release date. The next game in the horror franchise is set to release this Summer on consoles and PC.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain is “set to deliver an even more twisted and engrossing storyline than its predecessor and features an abundance of welcome changes to the series, including new gameplay and narrative elements that pull fans into an incredibly immersive and haunting experience.”

Fans can expect to see new characters with brand-new abilities designed to enhance gameplay elements. Out of these different elements, a new “stealth and cover” system overhauls the original gameplay. A crafting and scavenging system forces players to focus on their inventory while creeping around new environments for an even more horrific finish.

Modus Games commented on what players can expect from Remothered: Broken Porcelain:

Expanding upon the story of Rosemary Reed on her quest to find out the truth about Celeste, we’re also introduced to a new protagonist named Jennifer, who is armed with only her wits and resourcefulness to escape the horrors that await her in the Ashmann Inn. The new trailer introduces players to the untold secrets they will encounter on this journey of survival against all odds and showcases intense stealth gameplay, captivating characters, and survival mechanics– all in an incredible level of detail.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain creeps onto PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on August 25th, 2020, for $29.99. For development updates, check out Modus Games’ Twitter account or join their Discord!
