In just a few hours, we’ll be able to play one of the most fun modes of Resident Evil. You might’ve seen that some of the latest titles have included a mode called Mercenaries. In it, you get the chance to play several characters from the game and see how you fare against different enemies. This is something that became a staple of the franchise and a fan-favorite game mode. Now, the latest Resident Evil 4 Remake is getting this free DLC, and it just revealed all of its playable characters for Mercenaries. If you wanted to play as someone who isn’t Leon, you’ll get the chance to do it.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Mercenaries characters include Leon, Luis, Hunk, and Krauser

We are apparently getting four characters when this game mode launches. There are rumors about more characters coming in the future, and we truly hope that is the case. Some people are sad about the fact that Ada’s story isn’t in the base game. You might remember that the original game had everything in it, so players are worried that future content might be locked behind a paywall. Thankfully, the Mercenaries mode will release for free this Friday so that’s a win for all gamers.

We also hope that all characters in the game have some exclusive abilities to make this mode even more fun. Most of us already know how Leon plays, but it’d be nice to see Luis, Hunk, and Krauser in action. Besides that, many are hoping that Ada will join the ranks in the future. In the meantime, you’ll be able to choose from any of the four characters in the Mercenaries mode of Resident Evil 4 Remake. We recommend that you try all of them to see which one you like the most. The Mercenaries mode is all about defeating enemies fast, so make sure to find your favorite character and take on the enemies that are set to arrive this Friday.
