It seems Diddy had been telling on himself long before the feds had their eyes on him. The music mogul’s fall from grace was cemented this week when he was arrested in New York City. He was indicted on sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution charges. Now, an old clip from a 2002 interview show him seemingly confess to keeping women hostage during his many parties.
In the resurfaced video, Diddy during an appearance on Late Night With Conan O’Brien explained how he hosted his killer parties. While giving tips to O’Brien, the Bad Boys Records founder said, “This is what you need to do. Women. Beautiful women, of course. Beautiful men for the ladies, of course.” He noted that alcohol and water should be in surplus. This caused the host to question why water is on the list. The rapper explained:
“I don’t know if guys have noticed this, like, a lot of ladies drink water at parties. They just, you know, so if you don’t have what they need, they’re gonna leave. Gotta keep them there. You need locks on the doors.”
O’Brien was taken back by the confession, telling Diddy, “Okay, this is sounding kind of dangerous now,” to which he replied, “It’s a little kinky.” The rapper then continued with his checklist, giving more tips on the right temperature. “You need a lot of heat. Don’t have no air conditioning,” he explained. “Heat affects the alcohol and you know, everybody also gets a little more comfortable and loose and builds up a nice little sweat.”
‘The Signs Were Always There,’ Fans React To Diddy’s Resurfaced Clip
Following the circulation of the old video, fans expressed surprise that it took so long for the law to catch up with Diddy. “The signs were always there omg…,” lamented one fan, while another wrote, “Looking back on it now, the signs were definitely there. What an absolute piece of s**t.” A third similar comment read:
“After hearing this, nobody ever questioned the intentions? Shocking!”
A fourth fan remarked, “The 2000s were insane cuz he said this on LIVE television and no alarm bells were ringing in people’s heads??” Diddy’s alleged “freak-off” parties are a core component of the case the feds have against him. The indictment described the events as “elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded.”
