Through art, citizens continue to express their dissatisfaction with Elon Musk and the Trump administration. The senior advisor to the President of the United States was recently the subject of ridicule in a Washington artwork that likened him to the infamous Marie Antoinette.

In the street poster shared on Reddit, Musk was depicted as the famed Queen of France, Marie Antoinette, who was known for her alleged obliviousness towards the difficult living conditions of her people. She was also famous for allegedly saying, “Let them eat cake,” when told that the people could not afford to eat bread.

The poster, seen on North Cap and Rhode Island Ave. NW Street, Washington, D.C., showed an image of Musk’s head attached to Marie Antoinette’s body. In the image, the Tesla CEO had a swastika engraved on his forehead. The words “Let them buy Teslas” were scribbled on the poster.

People have taken to social media to express their thoughts on the viral artwork. One user described it as “The piece de resistance of the Musk Art period.”

Another person mocked, “Elonia looks so pretty 🤣,” while another wrote, “If only he was that attractive. Way too kind to that mealy mouth jawless incel.”

This citizen praised, “This is a true work of art!” In the comments, Redditor @wilbersk confirmed the presence of another sign on the same street. This time, Trump and Vladimir Putin were drawn side by side. Above the head of the Russian President were the words “Russian Dictator,” while Trump’s inscription was more deragratory, reading, “Russian D**ktaster.”

This isn’t the first time Musk has faced backlash from the public for his stance in the government. The tech billionaire was recently the subject of ridicule for the controversial Nazi salute gesture he made at Trump’s inauguration.

Earlier this month, a poster in London appeared to advertise an offensive perfume by Musk. In the picture, he could be seen wearing a suit and raising his hand, similar to the Nazi gesture. Beside his image was a perfume bottle designed with a gold swastika and the words “Elon Musk’s Parfume de 1939 Pour Wankers.”

Users on social media were of the opinion that the businessman must’ve been bothered by the poster. “Lol, he’s never going to live that down and now we know it bothers him. Keep it up,” one user wrote.
