As you worm your way to Marianaโs Veil, the last zone in Roblox Fisch, youโll need three types of fish to unlock the Veil of the Forsaken, one of which is the Crowned Anglerfish. It is a Secret-rarity fish, a category thatโs new and only has a few entries, like Scylla. In fact, if you check the bestiary, Secret-rarity fish donโt even appear! Thatโs the case with the Crowned Anglerfish, so if you want to catch it in Roblox Fisch, you have to bring your A-game.
The Best Way to Catch Crowned Anglerfish in Roblox Fisch
Letโs start with the Crowned Anglerfishโs location in Roblox Fisch. It likes to make its home in the Abyssal Zenith, which you get to through from Challengerโs Rock in Marianaโs Veil. Youโll have to unlock Challengerโs Rock through Volcanic Vent, too.
Once youโre in the Abyssal Zenith, you can start trying your luck for the Crowned Anglerfish right there in the pool. However, as this is a Secret-rarity fish, you should focus on getting the most ideal conditions, the best bait, and the best fishing rods. The Crowned Anglerfish is quite the thrasher otherwise.
For bait, Truffle Worm is its favorite food; however, Shark Head and Weird Algae are also great options too, especially Weird Algae. In fact, youโre better off alternating between Truffle Worm and Weird Algae.

For fishing rods, you want one with very high Luck and as much Control as possible. I recommend these three with the following enchantments:
- Destiny Rod with the Controlled enchantment
- Rod of the Depths with any Luck enchantment or Controlled
- Heavenโs Rod with any Luck enchantment or Controlled
Crowned Anglerfish prefer foggy weather and nighttime, so if you have Sundial and Smokescreen Totems, use them! However, Iโd only use them in a server that has fewer players to prevent someone else from using a Sundial Totem and ruining your chances. Also consider the Aurora Totem, though it is very expensive.
Lastly, and this isnโt something I would recommend, but itโll drastically boost your Luckโbuying a Luck Boost from the in-game shop will double your Luck. It costs 99 Robux though and only lasts 15 minutes.
