This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

To face a whole army of robots on your own, you need to be well-prepared and know a few tricks to get around obstacles and gain an advantage over your enemies. We will describe some tips and tricks for beginners in Roboquest. Hiding and shooting will not be enough because, with each new run, the number of enemies will increase, as well as their strength.

Roboquest: Best Tips for Beginners

In Roboquest, you are one of the last guardians of humanity, and the main enemies will be robots that have taken over the world. Throughout the game, you will face many obstacles and various types of enemies, each of which will try to kill you no matter what. To make it easier to deal with them and gain a strategic advantage, we have prepared some tips that will be useful to you.

Move and Maneuver

As we mentioned above, standing in one place and shooting at enemies is a bad idea. Instead, you need to be active all the time to dodge the various attacks coming your way and pick up XP and Health cells in time before they disappear. Considering that Roboquest is a dynamic FPS game, this strategy is the best option to succeed.

Take Advantage of the Environment

Luckily, not everything in the game is working against you, and taking advantage of the environment is a great idea. If you’re at a low health level, use walls, rocks, and other objects to quickly destroy the enemy by avoiding attacks and picking up Health cells to regenerate. Also, pay attention to whether there are rails near you. They usually appear frequently in the levels, and you can jump on them and slide to target enemies and kill them from a high ground while moving.

Prioritize the Right Enemies and Hit Their Weak Points

As you move from one location to another, you will encounter many different types of enemies, so you should know whom to kill first. This list includes elemental bots, turrets, enemies with shields, and others that slow down the movement process in one way or another. Also, don’t forget to hit enemies’ weak spots to inflict critical damage and destroy them faster. Almost all enemies have weaknesses that you need to find out about through trial and error. We’ve noticed that the weak spots of many robots are heads or red dots.

Take Advantage of Upgrades

Each time you complete a level, you can visit your base to upgrade your skills. Depending on the number of wrenches you collect during the run, you can improve various stats to increase your efficiency. The game allows you to upgrade plenty of cool features, ranging from increasing your health or speed to unlocking new gadget bundles in the Class Selector. So, don’t neglect to collect wrenches to get all these benefits.

Be Cautious

While quickly and dynamically moving through the levels, many players do not notice the secrets and bonuses. This list includes secret places, friendly robots, and even boxes with weapons. To avoid missing such valuable things, don’t forget to look at the mini-map because in most cases, you can see something there that you are unlikely to see on the gameplay screen. This way, you can unlock new classes, get cool and powerful weapons, or find a quiet place to relax and restore your health.

That’s it. Those are the essential beginner tips for Roboquest to play as a professional robot destroyer.

Roboquest is now available on PC and Xbox.
