Salma Hayek was dripping in sequins as she rocked yet another glittery dress for the Caring For Women Dinner in New York City last fall. In September of last year, the 57-year-old actress flew the flag for glam style as she slipped her curves into a skintight dress, one gaining approval on her Instagram and beyond.
Shouting out billionaire husband Franรงois-Henri Pinault’s Kering company in her caption, Salma thanked the conglomerate for presenting the dinner, one also attended by celebrities including TV star Oprah Winfrey and actress Zoe Kravitz. In a comment left to photos of Salma’s dazzling look on The Daily Mail, one user claimed that the MCU star had “[pulled] off” her dress “exceptionally well.”

Oozing glam in a thigh-slit gown with a low neckline and thin straps, Salma confidently flaunted her curves as she posed for photo ops. Going slinky in her dark red number, the Frida star flashed her shapely legs while going cinched at the waist, and her small chest cut-out was doing wonders for her hourglass silhouette.
Adding height to her frame via strappy platform heels, Salma posed with one hand to her waist in one photo, smiling confidently, and accessorizing her gown with a large, black satin clutch purse.
Wearing her locks down in luscious, soft waves, Salma kept glam with plenty of matte makeup, keeping her cosmetics understated and completing them with a matte lip.
‘Pulls It Off Exceptionally Well’
The fan, who gained likes, wrote: “Normally I’d say a woman her age shouldn’t be wearing those clothes, but Salma pulls it off exceptionally.“
Salma had posed ahead of the event to show her Instagram followers the dress. “All set for Caring for Women dinner tonight in New York presented byย @keringfoundationย supporting a cause very close to my heart. โค๏ธย #CaringForWomen,” she wrote, tagging designer Gucci for her dress. Chances are, she chose the Italian designer as it’s one of the high-end brands owned by her husband Kering’s brand. Kering also owns celebrity-adored labels including Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen.
Salma’s IG post earned over 700,000 likes, including a celebrity one from reality star Lisa Rinna.
Salma has never apologized for her curves. In fact, she’s one to celebrate them. The actress has stated:
“I’m not going to lie to you, I would like the curve to go in instead of out in some places, but I love a little curve. I love the word ‘curvy.’ It’s artistic. A straight line can be boring.”
