Sometimes, the brave men and women who serve us as medics, firefighters, and police have to brave and face intense and wild situations. Most of them are trained to handle just about anything, but on rare occasions, they see something that makes them shake their heads at just how stupid it is. Well, this happened in New York, as the Ossining Police Department recently shared such an incident with the world.

On a post on the Ossining Police Department’s Facebook page, the officers had a funny picture and PSa to share with the community. This is what the officers had to say.
Today at around noon, a vehicle was driven into the pool area of Club Fit on North State Road in Briarcliff Manor, New York. Thankfully no one was injured. While we do encourage car pooling, this is not what we had in mind. Have a safe weekend.
As you can imagine from the tongue-in-cheek post, many folks in the comments, both local and far away, had something equally smart to say in response. Here is a small sampling of the community’s reaction to the picture of the car somehow inside a community swimming pool.
“A scubaru”
“I always wondered where the car-pool lane lead to”
“I get mistaking the gas for the brake, but this guy mistook the LAUNCH MISSILE button for the brake”
“When i asked my wife to take the car for a bath, this isn’t what I meant”
“Senior citizens should be taking driving proficiency tests every 5 years after their 70th birthday”
Despite the heavy sarcasm, one must wonder how a car was launched into a building’s swimming pool. So let’s say it louder so everybody can hear it. Please stop speeding; it isn’t worth the risk of losing your car in a local pool.
