In the statement announcing his death, Ozzy Osbourne’s official X account revealed with sadness that the heavy metal icon, who disclosed his battle with Parkinson’s in 2019, was surrounded by family and love at the time of his death.

Ozzy was the father to six children, including Elliot, Jessica, and Louis Osbourne from his first wife Thelma Riley, as well as Aimee, Kelly, and Jack from his second marriage to Sharon Osbourne. Recounting the particular incident that followed a night of substance abuse, Sharon Osbourne explained how Ozzy turned towards her and uttered the words,
“We’ve come to a decision that you’ve got to die.”
Right after spitting out the words, he calmly approached her and proceeded to choke her violently. Thankfully, in her struggle to reach for life, the mom of three pressed the panic button on the table, and the cops arrived in time to save her. After these repeated volatilities and a brief separation in 2016, the couple retraced their steps back to each other, rekindling a love that had sustained them for many years.

Despite these repeated cases of violence, Sharon Osbourne maintains she was never a victim in her marriage to Ozzy Osbourne. The TV personality reasoned that neither Johnny nor Amber was the typical domestic abuse victim in their marriage, but rather, were as bad as each other. She believes Amber gave her then-husband “as good as she got,” contrary to her portrayal of herself as the vulnerable little mouse being battered. She added,
“I don’t know what they were using. I have no idea who was doing what, but I know they were both drinking, and it’s a volatile relationship. I had a relationship like that with my husband at one time. I would give him what he gave me.”
During their final years together before death came calling, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne reached new highs in their marriage.
