It seems there’s no end to ICE’s depravity or their complete disregard for basic morality. As if detaining innocent civilians weren’t enough, they’ve now begun targeting women and even children. In a recent video that surfaced on social media, several protestors managed to capture footage of ICE agents escorting a group of women and children. The incident reportedly took place at the Edward Roybal Federal Building in downtown Los Angeles, California.
In the footage, the group of women and children can be seen walking in a line through a parking area, all handcuffed as though they were hardened criminals. Outside the lot, a crowd of Los Angeles protestors shouted at the agents. Some hurled insults, calling them Nazis, while others attempted to comfort the children, reassuring them that they were being seen and heard.
The ICE agents didn’t appear to appreciate the protestors’ shouting. In another clip from the same post, a few agents can be seen walking out to confront the crowd. One woman, holding a megaphone, screamed “F*** you” directly at them. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you view the situation, the agents didn’t target her. Instead, they approached a man in the crowd who was holding a walkie-talkie. Without much warning, the agents grabbed him and tried to detain him on the spot. This sudden move sparked more outrage from the protestors, who shouted things like “No” and “What are you doing?”
One protester called out, demanding to know why the man was being taken. The tension escalated further when a group of nearby Marines joined the scene, assisting ICE in pushing the other protestors back. Fully armed and wearing tactical gear, they looked more like they were preparing for war than dealing with concerned citizens.
The Marines said little, only telling people to back up. As the camera shifted, it captured the moment the male protester was forced to the ground and handcuffed, all while voices cried out in the background.
Many Redditors expressed shock and outrage after watching footage of women and children being treated like criminals by ICE agents. The user who originally posted the video to the r/LosAngeles subreddit urged others to take a more proactive stance, emphasizing that we shouldn’t wait for the next major protest to take action against what they described as the Trump regime. They added, “People are dying in the ICE ‘detention centers.’ A resident of our state just died from injuries after being chased by ICE. Children are in f***ing chains.”
