A long time ago (2015) in a galaxy far, far away (Earth), it was a new age of gaming. Legions of gamers waged epic forum arguments over the best of the newest generation of gaming consoles. Such conflicts had raged since the dawn of time itself, destined never to end. In the midst of the flame wars, powerful beings known as speedrunners appeared, demonstrating such high mastery of the Force that they were able to complete any video game in no time flat. Two runners, in particular, Glitchย and CoasterZz, hold top honors for running Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and The Force Unleashed 2 to this day…

This is a NG+ run of The Force Unleashed by Coaster. With a fully-geared character, the run is largely a race from point to point, as the enemies pose little to no threat. Despite being a world record, the runner wasn’t quite satisfied with it. Coaster claimed the top spotย for this category from another runner called Life L1ke, though the latter retains first pace for both games in the regular any% categories. A NG+ run of The Force Unleashed 2, this one by Glitch. Rather ironic hearing the insult “clone freak” coming from the stormtroopers of all people. NG+ allows Glitch to dispatch the scripted enemies almost right away, leaving platforming as the meat of the game. Something to note, the record for this run is only barely shorterย than Life L1ke’s normal any% time.ย The one other category shared by both games is the “all holocrons%,” which also happens to be empty for both games.
