Nowadays, it isn’t new to see a mobile game making its way to the PC landscape. It is a fantastic tactic to open its doors to new players. However, most of the time, these re-releases tend to be unfinished versions. Well, that isn’t the case with what Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is doing. On the contrary, the team at EA Capital Games has ensured to bring players the full Galaxy of Heroes experience to PC players from day one. Cross-platform progress, instant parity, and a revamped player experience are just a few of the features all Holotable players will experience.

During a small virtual event, I got to see what’s next for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and its long-awaited PC release. At first, I was a bit skeptical. Many mobile games that transition to PC always tend to be an unfinished port, hoping to let players try them as fast as possible. But that isn’t the case for this one. Galaxy of Heroes took its time to polish the release, which many will enjoy during early access. After seeing all its features, I’m convinced this will be the best way to experience the Holotables.

Anyone who joins the early access of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes on PC can enjoy 60 FPS with up to 4K resolution, proper anti-aliasing, and more features. However, what excited me was that mobile and PC versions will get instant parity. For the unaware, this means that all the content on the mobile version will be available on the PC client simultaneously starting July 17. This includes any future updates, new raids, characters, ships, and more.

Furthermore, those afraid of joining the Holotables a bit late don’t have to be. This update will also bring a revamped new player experience. If this is your first time joining the fight, the journey to level 85 will be significantly faster. Beyond that, the new questing system will reward players with more shards, allowing them to get new characters faster. The great thing about it is that you can take your progress with you anytime. Whether you start your journey on PC or mobile, your progress will carry over seamlessly between versions.

While I might not be a Holotable expert, I’m excited. Seeing an almost decade-old game expanding to a new market is always great. With Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes brimming with content, now’s the perfect time to join in. Oh yes, and if you think this PC version will require an expensive rig, that’s not the case. The team mentioned the requirements are extremely low, so you’re good to go as long as your PC has Windows 10. No need for anything capable of hyperspace jumps. So, get the EA desktop app and join the adventure. There are never enough heroes in this galaxy, far, far away.
