“Red Tape Blues” is one of several sidequests inย Starfield, and one area that can cause players to hesitate is the Executive Assistant application questions. It’s not every day that a game puts you in real-world situations like job applications. But as you work through “Red Tape Blues,” you are eventually tasked with applying for that Executive Assistant position. Once you speak to Trevor and head to Deimos, the quest begins. We’ll break down the question and answer portion so you can move on with the mission.
Executive Assistant Questions and Answers Guide
You’ll answer seven application questions if you want to earn the title of Executive Assistant to Peter Brennan in Starfield. It may seem daunting at first, but the questions are straightforward for the most part.
Below is a list of the Starfieldย Executive Assistant questions and some of our favorite answers:
- Question 1:ย How many years of experience do you have as an executive, administrator, or other corporate assistant?
- Answer:ย 5-10 years
- Question 2:ย What is the highest level of education you have completed?
- Answer:ย Bachelor’s Degree
- Question 3:ย The Executive wants you to bring them a “whiskey, neat.” What does that mean?
- Answer:ย About 43 ml shot of whiskey, served in a glass at room temp.
- Question 4:ย A VIP arrives at the office for a meeting with the Executive, who is inexplicably running late. What should you do?
- Answer:ย Offer drinks. Apologize, and assure that the exec will return soon.
- Question 5:ย A malfunction prevents the Executive’s starship from starting up, and they need to go to an important offworld meeting soon. What course of action do you take?
- Answer:ย Use the company credits to immediately charter an expensive luxury craft.
- Question 6:ย While handling the Executive’s email, you come across a message from someone claiming to have damaging information about the Executive. What should you do?
- Answer:ย Take the info to the board of directors so they can handle it.
- Question 7:ย The Executive contacts you and asks you to see them in their office in the middle of the night. You can tell they are drunk. What do you do?
- Answer:ย Immediately go to their office to take care of them until they sober up.
Do Your Answers Matter?
In theย Starfieldย “Red Tape Blues” sidequest, the answers to the Executive Assistant questions are unimportant. You can choose anything you’d like. The other portion of the quest involves hacking and deleting the other applications to put yourself at the top of the list. So, you can pick at random or immerse yourself in the roleplaying aspects and select answers according to your character. Either way, you’ll complete this part of the quest and move along.
