Steffy Forrester and John “Finn” Finnegan are a super couple on The Bold and the Beautiful. Dubbed “Sinn” by fans, the couple rose to popularity from the moment they met in 2020. Although their love story is still young, the pair has already experienced lots of turmoil. Finn’s presumed death and interference from Steffy’s ex-husband Liam Spencer are a few issues they’ve faced. But the soap opera couple could be facing their biggest challenge.
Steffy’s longtime enemy Hope Logan has been interfering in her marriage lately. The women previously fought in the past over Liam, now they’re about to do battle over Finn. The Forrester Creations CEO was concerned about Hope spending time with her husband, and her worries were justified with Finn’s confession.
Last week during a party at the Forrester mansion, a drunk Hope kissed Finn. Immediately Hope regretted the decision when Finn admonished her behavior. Despite her pleas to keep their liplock a secret, he knew he had to tell his wife.
Finn’s Confession Sparks Steffy’s Tirade on The Bold and the Beautiful
As expected, Steffy was furious when she learned that Hope kissed Finn. Most of her anger was directed at Hope, but Finn didn’t get off scot-free. During her tirade, Steffy blasted her husband for his praise and closeness to Hope. She also expressed her hurt that Finn never respects her feelings and that she’s the only one who fights for this marriage.
Steffy has every right to feel upset over this betrayal, however, she shouldn’t act like a victim.
Steffy’s rant against Finn made her seem more hypocritical than anything. First, there was the talk of respecting feelings. She brought up how Finn never respected her wishes to stay away from his criminal mother Sheila Carter. And now Finn has disrespected Steffy again, this time with Hope.
Throughout the course of their marriage, Finn always has to bend over backwards to please Steffy. It’s either her way or the highway. He always has to take her feelings into consideration, but she never does the same for him. She never once asks him about his conflicted feelings regarding Sheila. Plus, she’s also ignored Finn’s concerns about Steffy’s ex-husband Liam crossing boundaries.
Second, Steffy claimed she’s the only one who fights for their marriage. Yet, whenever a problem arises, her first instinct is to run away. She never stays to work things out. But Finn fights tooth and nail for Steffy and his kids. When he was presumed dead and held captive by Sheila, he did everything to come back to her.
And lastly, Finn had the decency to be honest about the kiss, a trait Steffy is missing. Last year, Steffy was kissed by Liam twice and never told her husband. So her judging Finn for his kiss with Hope seems hypocritical since he’s unaware of her and Liam’s liplock.
Is Sinn Headed For Splitsville?
That’s the million dollar question as Steffy and Finn face another challenge. According to Soaps.com, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Steffy needs time away to make a decision.
The couple has survived many obstacles before and come back stronger than ever. Could some time away make Steffy realize her marriage is worth fighting for? Or will it open the door for Hope to make another move on Finn?
It’s not looking good for Steffy and Finn at the moment. If the couple does reunite then there’s a lot of work that needs to be done, most of which stems from Steffy.
