It’s official, inZOI Early Access is now available, but before this, some players had the opportunity to test the mechanics before the release. Among the lucky ones with early access were content creators, reviewers, and testers. Well, precisely one streamer trying to “break” inZOI to find bugs and doing it noticed that mixing cars had unexpected behavior with certain elements of the game. Fortunately, the team has already fixed this bug, and it won’t show up again.
The Redditor and streamer HeeeydevonGaming shared a very particular video on the inZOI subreddit. The streamer was testing the mechanics and how the inZOI cars work, but when looking for a bug, he made his Zoi run over several NPCs who were in a playground. At first, only one of the NPCs flew to the other end of the playground in a very exaggerated way. The rest of the group stood still as if they were Superman, surprising Heeeydevon. However, Heeeydevon wasn’t happy only with that. So, this streamer, using the same car and Zoi, hit each of the remaining Zois again, sending them flying all over the place.

However, the developers released a statement regarding this situation:
“This issue was caused by an unintended bug that has been resolved in the latest patch. These depictions are highly inappropriate and do not reflect the intent and values of inZOI. We understand the seriousness of this matter and age-appropriate content, and we are strengthening our internal review processes to prevent similar incidents in the future.”
Frankly, it is great to see how quickly the team fixed this bug. inZOI is a very wholesome game that allows you to control several aspects of your Zois and the cities they inhabit. So, having these bugs around might give players a different idea. Then again, it was an issue that the team patched quickly, so it won’t happen again.
