After a long period of silence, Rocksteady has announced its new Suicide Squad Insider series, which will premiere this week and bring story and gameplay information of this long-anticipated game. You may remember the last trailer we got for this title, which was not as great as everyone expected. Moving away from the old Arkham playstyle, the game looked more like a looter shooter with RPG mechanics, weapon rarity, and other gimmicks that just don’t belong to this universe the studio has created. Now, players are eager to see if the developers have found their footing and returned to the series’ roots.

Suicide Squad Insider Premieres on November 15

According to the video’s description, this will be a series of videos detailing what’s coming to the Suicide Squad game. So far, we only had the details of what we saw in the last gameplay footage. When it launched, fans quickly expressed their thoughts, claiming it’d be a trainwreck, so the game was delayed. We shouldn’t see this as something bad, as the developers are using this time to improve the game, or so they say. However, if there’s one studio we believe has what it takes to make a great title, it is Rocksteady.

It’s uncertain what type of gameplay details we’ll get with the Suicide Squad Insider series, but anything is great. It’s been a while since we saw this eclectic group of characters causing mayhem, and watching them beat the spandex out of the Justice League is something we can’t wait to experience.

If you want to watch these videos, the first episode goes live on November 15 at 10 a.m. PST. It’s unknown how long the episodes will last, but given the silence from the studio, we hope to get some hefty information ahead of the game’s apparent release in 2024.
