Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Is Finally Coming To An End

In this world, there is no black and white, only varying shades of gray

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has reached the final stretch with the announcement of season 4, possibly the last season, which kicks off tomorrow and will involve Deathstroke in some way. Rocksteadyโ€™s roadmap, at least at the time of writing, only had plans for 4 total seasons of the game, which will likely remain unchanged because of the lukewarm reception of the game.

From December 10, those who still play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be able to fight Deathstroke. Rocksteady announced X (formerly Twitter) and showed an image of one of the toughest adversaries in Batmanโ€™s rogueโ€™s gallery. Further details about exactly what role he will play in the final season arenโ€™t known at this point.

Rocksteady announced in January of this year that the yearโ€™s roadmap will bring new weapons, environments, and equipment, among other things. Joker joined the game in March, followed by Mrs. Freeze who came out over the summer.

The most recent addition was Zoe Lawton, the daughter of Floyd Lawton, also known as Deadshot. But her addition wasnโ€™t met with much interest and since Deathstroke is an amazing villain in the right setting, he may or may not spark more interest among the shrinking player base.

After season 4 concludes, the live service aspect of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is expected to come to an end. The game had a horrible launch and has been struggling ever since. The grind-laden gameplay and disjointed story were major criticisms of the game. But probably the biggest problem was that no one wanted a Suicide Squad game, fans just wanted more Arkham games or an expansion of the universe. The game had incurred a loss of $200 million when it came out.

The live-service genre isnโ€™t what Rocksteady was known for and for obvious reasons. Many of the senior developers and team leads departed from the studio in time before the release of Suicide Squad. The new studio is called Hundred Star Games and is rumored to be working on a GI Joe Snake Eyes game that is similar to the Arkham series.
