Since Taylor and Travis first began their relationship in July 2023, their romance has captured the constant attention of Swifty and Chiefs fans. The two have practically been inseparable since the start of their romance. That is until football season forced Travis to pump the brakes a bit. This could explain why the loved-up couple have spent more time apart lately.
According to People Magazine, Chiefs WAG Chariah Gordon recently opened up and gave fans an up-close look into what life is like as a Kansas City Chiefs WAG. For those unfamiliar with the definition of a WAG, it is an acronym for Wives and Girlfriends of professional athletes.
Gordon is engaged to Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. and fully understands the strict rules and regulations everyone on the team must follow. First of all, she states that there “Ain’t no staying in no same room.”
No Exceptions For Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift
There is a strict ban on pre-game sleepovers. This is a hard one for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. But everyone must follow the rules. The players also have an 11 p.m. curfew the night before games. They are banned from drinking alcohol before games. After the game, the entire team must board the plane and fly home together.
As a result of these rules, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift cannot spend as much time together as they would like. The Chief’s regulations have undoubtedly put a damper on their spontaneity, forcing them to say their goodbyes at the airport and go their separate ways until they return home. So that means no hopping on Taylor’s luxury jet after the game.
Taylor Swift’s Rule Breaker Reputation Hard On Travis Kelce
The pop singer is considered a rule-breaker in the entertainment industry and often in her private life. At 34, she is a wealthy, independent woman who is used to calling all the shots in her career and personal life. Some fans believe being forced to follow Travis’ Chiefs rules could cause friction in their relationship.
“Taylor Swift is used to making the rules. These NFL rules won’t be easy for her to follow. I can see her wanting to be rebellious and sneak around with Travis. Breaking the rules without being caught would be a thrill for her,” claims one dedicated Swifty.
“No, Taylor loves Travis, and she would never want him to do anything that would cause him problems. They are grown, so they can figure out their lives around each other’s schedules. It is only for a few months out of the year,” another chimes in.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift each have demanding careers and schedules. Yet they have managed to make things work. “She’s very self-aware,” Kelce said in an interview with Bussin’ With The Boys. “I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her. It was how genuine she is around friends [and] family,” he said. “It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool.”

Reports state that Travis is ring shopping and is prepared to lay out some serious cash when he finds that perfect ring fit for his girl, Taylor Swift.
Rumors are circulating that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift could be announcing their engagement at Christmas. As far as their fans are concerned, it couldn’t come at a better time. Swifties hope to see the pair walk down the aisle sometime late next year. Time will tell, but in the meantime, Taylor and Travis need to keep following those rules.
