Although Swift and Gomez were once nearly inseparable, it seems the singer has moved on to a new group of friends, and could be leaving the Only Muders In The Building star in the dust.
Radar Online reports that Taylor Swift’s A-list friends are all vying for a spot in her wedding party. Of course, the coveted maid of honor spot will be among the most wanted. Sources claim that the singer previously promised Selena Gomez that she would be standing next her on her big day. However, she may have changed her mind.

Instead of asking Gomez to be her maid of honor, Swift reportedly wants her close pal, actress Blake Lively, to step into the role instead. The two have become very close, and the singer is even the godmother to Lively’s children, whom she shares with husband Ryan Reynolds.
Last week, Taylor Swift had many of her famous friends at her Rhode Island beach house for a party. Blake Lively was there, as well as Travis Kelce’s brother Jason and his wife Kylie. Channing Tatum, Gigi Hadid, and Bradley Cooper, were also in attendance. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez was reportedly not at the party.
Kelce’s friend and teammate, Patrick Mahomes, was there with his family as well. Swift and her man were seen gushing over the quarterback’s adorable three-year-old daughter. The Daily Mail reports that the pair have baby fever, and that Swift is more than ready to become a mother.
“Taylor’s always loved kids and never think that her career and ambition will get in the way of her biggest dream – to have her own family,” an insider tells the outlet. “She’s ready!”
