A TikTok video has gone viral after capturing a terrifying near-miss on the highway involving a truck that failed to properly secure a stack of mattresses. The clip, shared by a Cleveland, Ohio-area family, shows a pickup truck hauling several mattresses loosely strapped down in the back. According to the poster, the driver of the truck seemed to purposely swerve in front of their car just moments before the inevitable happened, the mattresses flew off into the middle of the busy Ohio interstate.
The family, including a toddler in the back seat, was left shaken. โYes I did call the police immediately after. Offered the video, they said they didnโt need it. I pray everyone was ok. Do better people! Almost killed us,โ the driverโs wife wrote over the video, adding the hashtags #Cleveland and #BedfordExit. She added in another caption, โSo this happenedโฆ God was watching over us.โ
