Road rage incidents can get crazy sometimes. One spot that has been having terrible road rage incidents is Austin, Texas. Imagine driving your car in peace only to be suddenly attacked by a stranger. This happened with a Texas woman who got attacked with chains (yes, you read that correctly) in a road rage incident. The event took place in Austin, and people were left in shock about what happened. Luckily for the Texas resident, someone witnessed the entire incident and offered to be a witness.
In a post shared in a local Austin group, a lady tried to reach out to the Texas woman who got into this road rage incident in Pleasant Valley. The original poster identified herself as the one who witnessed the whole thing and called it to the police. In the woman’s post, she tells the Texas citizen, in hopes that she sees the post, that she provided a statement to the police. The statement includes how the Texas resident had to run the red light to save herself.
That was the right choice, especially since the attacker had chains with them. They even used chains to break her windows and then they tried to pull her out of the car. The woman’s passenger also stated to the police that they heard the perpetrator threatening the Texas woman and saying that they would kill her. “If you need witness information please feel free to PM me,” the woman wrote. Hopefully, the Texas resident will see the post and reach out to her.

People in the comments under the Reddit post were shocked at the horrifying details and what the Texas woman went through. Someone pointed out that the same area is filled with road rage incidents. “Saw this and meant to tell them to post on Reddit so thanks for sharing. And also… what the absolute f**k. I’ve lived here for 10 years and obviously many things have deteriorated in that time but driving and road rage are off the charts,” they wrote. Another person shared their own story of a road rage incident they went through. They said:
“It’s not a f**king joke. Some a**hat in a jeep Cherokee road raged me the other day told me he was going to kill me. Tried running me off the road several times. Literally no idea what I did to piss him off. I was behind him.”
The fact that the Texas woman was attacked by chains is quite honestly weird and unimaginable. Yet, it still happened. This detail left people shocked. “chains? That’s insane,” someone wrote.
