Recently, Ubisoft has announced that the beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division has been delayed. The anticipated beta test was, originally, expected to begin this month.
Xbox One owners will get a chance to test out the game as part of a closed alpha test. The alpha testย is set to start on December 9th. Players will be able to test out The Division, until December 12th, when Ubisoft will pull the plug. The plan is that the alpha test will provideย Ubisoft with additionalย details and information regardingย how the game will work in a public setting. Players will haveย a chance to test the game in an area that is outside of theย Dark Zone PvP enabled areas. The PVP areas were the ones that the developer has been showing off at trade shows.

This alpha test of The Division is under a strict NDAย or non-disclosure agreement. This means that, if you get in, you will not be able to share screenshots, make YouTube videos, or live stream the game. However, there will be a spot,ย in the official forums, forย testers toย visitย and present bug reports.
The size of the alpha will be roughly 24 gigs. Make sure you have space if you are one the lucky ones chosen to help test the game. A closed beta will happenย in “early 2016.” That version should require the same size of space.
