Nexon’s looter shooter presents several unique Descendant-exclusive quests, which you must use a select character to complete. One of the earliest ones you can do is Bunny’s questline where you must uncover part of her past while recovering secret special operation records. Your objective is basically just running around talking to people and picking up Journals scattered all over the zones. Here’s how to complete the third part of The First Descendant Bunny’s questline called “In Search of the Relic.”

The Journal can be found in the northernmost part of the Derelict Covert Outpost in the Echo Swamp. It lies on the top part of a treehouse tower with the floating platforms obstacle course. “In Search of the Relic” will be unlocked after you’ve completed “The Traces Continue” part of The First Descendant questline.

After you teleport and spawn in the zone, look to your left so you head north. Then just run and grapple hook your way ignoring enemies and any obstacle you find. Once you get there, you can either carefully navigate the platforms to reach the highest part of the tower or use the grappling hook to quickly get there.

This particular tower is also a part of the “Old Human Base” story mission where you must collect 50 glowing orbs. Finding the “In Search of the Relic” Journal during The First Descendant mission shouldn’t be too hard despite the time limit. Because of that, we suggest you use Bunny during the Echo Swamp segment so you can get two birds with one stone.

After you have reached the top of the tower, you should find the Journal on the eastern edges of it. To make sure you’re looking at the right location, see if you can spot a treehouse in front of you. Grab the Journal, listen to the recording, and now you’ll have to speak with Anais the item research Magister in Albion.

That’s pretty much how to complete “In Search of the Relic” in The First Descendant. We also have a video guide below if you still have trouble locating the Journal. In case you want to try your hands on other Descendants, we can help you with unlocking Freyna as well.

The First Descendant is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
