The Last of Us Voice Actor Confirmed to Star as Indiana Jones in The Great Circle

In the latest Xbox Developer Direct, we got a glimpse of the new Indiana Jones game in terms of gameplay mechanics as well as various characters that we will struggle through the game. One thing that was confirmed after the showcase was that Troy Baker, the voice actor of Joel in The Last of Us game will do the voice-over of Indiana Jones in The Great Circle.

Troy Baker is the Voice Actor of Indiana Jones

After months of anticipation, we got to see what MachineGames has been cooking with their Indiana Jones game. Same as their previous games, The Great Circle uses a first-person camera which may not be the best option for this game, yet the gameplay mechanics and the visuals of this product looked amazing.

Once the bit where Jones starts to speak arrived I was amazed at how well they have recreated Harrison Ford’s face but there was something off about his voice. I knew it was Ford but I couldn’t figure out who it was and my biggest bet was on Troy Baker. As it turns out I was right all the way.

The voice actor of Joel from The Last of Us series will do the voice-over of Indiana Jones in The Great Circle. Although it would have been great to see Harrison Ford himself in that role, Baker is one of the best choices available. He also played the role of Sam in Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End which is a franchise entirely inspired by Indiana Jones.

Just to point out some of the other amazing works his done, Troy Baker has played The Joker in Arkham Origins, Batman in Batman: Telltale, Arkham Knight and Two-Face in Batman: Arkham Knight, Higgs in Death Stranding, Pagan Pin in Far Cry 4, and Magni God of War.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released for PC and Xbox Series X|S in 2024.
