Developers Virtual Basement and Code Headquarters announced that, The Mean Greens: Plastic Warfare, launches today on Steam. The game is a third-person shooter title that has players battling each other as green and tan toy army men. The developers promise that there are many different environments and various game modes to choose from.

“Take part of history’s greatest battle of Green VS. Tan. Fight amongst and against others online. Jump, shoot and roll your way into victory with fast-paced objective based gameplay. Sometimes the greatest battles are fought by the smallest of soldiers”

There are ten distinct maps and a variety of gameplay modes. Modes include flag, foosball, and an attack-and-defend mode. The maps, themselves, include the inside of a freezer, a birthday party, and the inside a fish tank. Available weapons range from an M-16 assault rifle to a flamethrower, and a bazooka.

The game has a generous feature list including:

  • 10 Modes
  • 10 Maps
  • 6 Weapons
  • 5v5 Multiplayer Battles
  • Full Controller Support
  • Voice Chat
  • Text Chat
  • Party Matchmaking
  • Dedicated Servers

The Mean Greens: Plastic Warfare is available today on PC through Steam at a sale price of $9.99 and can be purchased at its Steam Store page found here. For more information on the game, you can check out its official site here.
