Hold your breath as the Bloober team shares a new video featuring nine fascinating facts about its upcoming psychological horror title, The Medium. The studio behind acclaimed horror games like Blair Witch, Observer: Device Redux, and Layers of Terror releases nine uncanny facts about the game. Expect to dive further into the game as you get to learn more about its creation and the individuals involved in the final stretch leading to its release on January 28.
In this newest four-and-a-half-minute video of The Medium, you’ll witness a good number of easter eggs about the game. And the information they included will surely pique your curiosity. Facts will include how the production began in 2012 or the real location that inspiration of the game’s setting – a real abandoned hotel in Kraków, Poland, called Niwa Hotel.
Also, this recent release shares sneak peeks at some of the team’s production challenges during the pandemic, as well as valuable gameplay tips and behind-the-scenes videos not previously released.
If you’ve never heard of The Medium yet, it is a third-person psychological horror game. It features groundbreaking dual-reality gameplay patented by the Bloober Team. You will play as Marianne, a medium with a range of psychic powers. And with this, you can alternatively and simultaneously explore the physical and spiritual world. This will help you uncover a mysterious case hidden by disturbing secrets, evil spirits, and devious puzzles that only you can solve.
The Medium is available exclusively for Xbox Series consoles, PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store. It costs $49.99 and players who wish to preorder will get an additional 10% off discount.
