So, it’s no surprise that the A-lister isn’t likely to visit his teen daughter at college.
The Daily Mail reports that Katie Holmes recently helped Suri Cruise move into her dorm. She’s attending classes at the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. However, Tom Cruise was nowhere in sight for his daughter’s milestone moment. However, it has been reported that the actor is paying for Suri’s college tuition. He’s reportedly shelling out about $65K a year for her to attend the school. Meanwhile, Holmes is said to be planning a big visit with her only child when family weekend rolls around. However, Cruise is unsurprisingly skipping out on the parental visit.

“Katie looks forward to visiting her child at school, she is happy for her and wants to be a part of it,” an insider tells the outlet. “Katie attended Columbia University for a while and loved the experience so she is thrilled her girl will be going to college.”
For her part, Suri is said to be looking forward to the traditional college experience. This includes living in a dorm with a roommate. Despite having famous parents, she is reportedly excited about blending in amid the rest of the students at the university as she embarks on her new journey.
Of course, fans have plenty of thoughts on Tom Cruise not being there for his daughter during this important time in her life.
