Successfully completing a mission or exploring a dangerous planet depends on many factors, including the weapon that will help you against your enemies. In the game, you can find many options to effectively destroy enemy forces and emerge victorious, but not all players know which weapon is the best. If you are one of them, just check our list of the best weapons in Starfield. Below, you will mostly find legendary weapons, and it is not surprising because all of them are endowed with additional effects that will help in battle.

Starfield: 5 Best Weapons

Some of the weapons that we will describe in this list can only be obtained at the end of the game. If you’ve just started the story, and you liked one of them, don’t worry because you can use the console command to give yourself the weapon you want. If this option does not suit you, then follow the instructions for obtaining the weapons.

This weapon features good damage but a small magazine, so you need to be accurate in battle. Among other things, the pistol is also endowed with 4 modifications, namely:

  • Laser Sight
  • Penetrator Rounds
  • Compensator
  • Hair Trigger

You can get it by joining the Freestar Collective Rangers faction during the Deputized mission.

This is a rather rare weapon and not every player has it in their arsenal. The main advantages of the gun are its damage and relatively good range. We often use the Experiment A-7 to occupy enemy ships and bases, so this weapon will definitely be helpful for you. In addition, it is also endowed with as many as 8 additional modifications, namely:

  • Fully Automatic
  • Long Barrel
  • Hair Trigger
  • Laser Sight
  • Flechette Rounds
  • Reflex Sight
  • Tactical Stock
  • Choke

In addition, it is also equipped with the Exterminator effect, which deals +30% damage against aliens. You can get the weapon by completing the Entangled mission, provided you save both dimensions.

The weapon is also endowed with additional perks, namely:

  • Short Scope

It will take time to master this weapon, as its mechanics may seem more complicated than others. But once you do, then you will understand how powerful and indispensable this weapon is. As you can see, all the stats are almost perfect, so you will definitely be invincible in the combat. These are the legendary effects of this weapon:

  • Frenzy: When you hit a target, there is a chance that the frenzy effect will be applied.
  • Radioactive: Gives a chance that the hit will cause radioactive damage to the target and demoralize it.
  • Instigating: Targets at full health take double damage.

You cannot buy this weapon or find it in a container, you can only get it at the end of the game. During the Unearthed mission, you need to side with the Emissary to fight against the Hunter. When you do so, you can loot weapons from the Hunter’s corpse.

Eternity’s Gate is an extremely powerful beam weapon in Starfield. The perfect balance of stats will help you to be incredibly strong at both short and long distances. Completing any mission will be incredibly easy. And like all other legendary weapons, it is endowed with effects, namely:

  • Anti-Personnel: Damage against people is increased by 10%.
  • Skip Shot: Every fourth shot is accompanied by 2 bullets instead of 1.
  • Handloading: Volatile rounds are designed to pack a bigger punch but are not as stable and can fail occasionally.

You can get this weapon by doing the opposite of the previous option. Now, when deciding which side to take, you will need to choose Hunter and together with him kill Emissary so that you can take the weapon from his corpse. Or you can kill both of them and have the 2 best weapons in Starfield.
