We are almost halfway through the fall anime season of 2024, so each series’s characters and story already have a marked course. We have already experienced the plot of the main characters and their antagonists and have seen some epic battles between them. Although this is not the most important thing, every season, we all focus on meeting the top waifus, and we already have the best of fall anime 2024. If you don’t know them, maybe you should give their series a chance to see their personalities shine and, in some cases, something more.
5. Yuki – You are Ms. Servant
Starring the incredible voice of the great Reina Ueda, who also acts for Ganyu from Genshin Impact or Kanao Tsuyuri from Demon Slayer. Reina Ueda has other, more amazing roles, but Yuki is in this position because she doesn’t speak or show too many emotions. However, we love Yuki for being a skilled mercenary like Yor Forger, with a sweet side for her family.
Initially, it all pointed to a normal slice-of-life anime with a former assassin leaving her past behind to form a new life with a teenage protagonist. Yet, the most recent episode gave us quite a surprise. As part of one of the world’s deadliest assassins, Yuki or Xue is capable of going the extra mile to protect what she loves and still looking great while doing it. We hope to see this killer maid in action more, but even if it doesn’t happen, she’s already earned a spot in our hearts.
4. Yoshino Somei – Yakuza Fiancé
This type of story usually has a docile protagonist who falls in love with the rough and violent but protective male protagonist. In the case of Yoshino, it’s the opposite. Yoshino is a country girl who must go to Tokyo to meet her fiancé, Kirishima. There isn’t a good reason for their engagement, only that they both come from Yakuza families.
At first, Yoshino accepts this without much trouble until her fiancé gets fed up with her good manners and shows what a jerk he really is. Yoshino takes it as a challenge to show who is in charge of their relationship, although this backlashes against her because Kirishima is a masochist. The best thing about this anime and this girl in the top waifus of 2024 is that Yoshino has a strong personality that keeps her psychopath fiancé controlled.
3. Tino Shade – Let This Grieving Soul Retire
Tino is one of the best adventurers in the best guild; she always works hard and is a great leader. She can even withstand the inhuman training of her mentor, and her personality is what’s most attractive about her. However, her weakness is her guild leader, Krai Andrey, who is a useless but incredibly lucky fool. Tino will do anything to make Krai happy and believes in him blindly, despite acting the opposite way with the other characters.
While gushing for the protagonist can get a bit tedious at times and that’s the reason she is in this position in our top Fall anime waifus 2024. Regardless, Tino is quite funny, and her many sides are appealing. Plus, she has one of the most original designs for a thief we’ve seen in a while, with a healthy dose of fan service but cute enough to make her a proper waifu. We only hope she never discovers the protagonist’s truth because she’ll be quite disappointed if she does.
2. Chinatsu Kano – Blue Box
This sports anime focuses a lot on the main characters making it to the national competitions. However, there are other focuses than this; Taiki is in love with Chinatsu, and they both live in his house. Chinatsu is a lovely girl who is very focused on being a good basketball player. But because Taiki is so dumb, he will only ask Chinatsu out until she wins the nationals to prove he is somebody worthy.
In the process, Taiki tries not to let rumors or people think wrongly, which only makes Chinatsu sad. Despite everything, Chinatsu tries to get closer to him and solve all the misunderstandings. In truth, the appealing part about Chinatsu is that she’s a mature co-protagonist who isn’t afraid to lead our goofy badminton protagonist in this rom-com. I don’t think Taiki deserves her just yet, but Blue Box is bound to be a long anime, so things might change.
1. Momo Ayase – DanDaDan
Momo is undoubtedly the best girl in the Fall anime waifus of 2024 and probably of the whole year. Even though Momo seems to be a complicated girl with rude reactions in the beginning, she is actually a good girl. For example, even when she didn’t speak to or know Okarun, she decided to help him with his annoying bullies.
The real issue relies on Momo and Okarun not being good at communicating. Also, since they are still young, it leads to them fighting as children. And even though the immaturity of both is what led them to deal with spirits and aliens, what a great help it is to have a friend with exorcist powers. With some drama coming up in the later chapters, Momo will only keep showing her great side and why she deserves to be crowned as the best in the season.
