Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been going strong for more than a year now. Since he’s happily dating one of the most famous women in the world, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is now trying to help others in their romantic lives. Recently, the athlete was asked to share some tips for getting the spark back into a relationship, and he delivered. Although he admitted he’s never had a dry spell, he did give some ideas on how to work through it.
During the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce dished on romance. When a fan called in and asked about decreased intimacy with his wife, Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce, shared their opinions on the situation. Of course, Taylor Swift fans listened closely as the Kelce brothers spouted off tips and tricks.
“Maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic,” Travis suggested. “Get that thing going.”

Kelce revealed that it was a “tough” situation to be in. However, he encouraged the caller to put in some big effort to rekindle the flame in his marriage.
“Take her to a nice restaurant. These are all things that I would try and do just based off what I heard. Try role-play one night, you know, see if she’s up for that. Go to Spencer’s and get some f—— s– stuff, man, I don’t know,” Travis added.
Meanwhile, Jason had his own ideas, such as wearing tight pants. He also told the caller that women “don’t operate on the same wavelength” as men. “Women like to be sought after,” he stated.
Whatever Travis is doing seems to be working. He and Taylor have been dating for more than a year, and appear to be happier than ever. Despite rumors that are constantly circulating about their romance, the Super Bowl champ made it clear that the pair are doing well. “Me and Tay are absolutely happy,” he stated during the podcast session.
Of course, fans had plenty to say about Kelce’s suggestions.
“He’s just bragging, but this is gross,” one person wrote on Reddit.
“Whatever happened to privacy?” asked another.
“Ick to this and ick to their solution to rekindle the romance. I bet if the guy who called in started doing more housework and (possibly) childcare/emotional labor it would be better. Instead the suggestion is to do rose petals and candles,” a third comment read.
“Good for Taylor,” stated another.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift haven’t spoken much about their relationship in public. However, the football player doesn’t seem to be afraid to open up when it comes to his podcast.
