Dreamworks and Universal Studios have released the first official trailer for Trolls 3, known officially as Trolls Band Together. It will release in theaters on November 17, 2023.
Get Ready for A Family Reunion (?) In Trolls 3 Band Together!
Trolls 3 was officially announced back in November 2021 as the third installment of the popular Dreamworks franchise. Back then, the synopsis and characters had not been revealed.
Now, we have a full outlook of what fans can expect from Trolls Band Together.
In this film, Poppy (Anna Kendrick and Branch (Justin Timberlake) have become a couple and are living happily together in the Troll kingdom. However, when Branch’s long-lost brother, John Dory (Eric André) suddenly returns, it’s revealed that branch used tone part of boyband called BroZone. It consisted of himself and his four brothers: John Dory, Floyd (Troye Sivan), Spruce (Daveed Diggs), and Clay (Kid Cudi).
After BroZone disbanded when Branch was still a baby, he had never seen any of them again until now.
When Floyd is suddenly kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of pop-star villains—Velvet (Amy Schumer) and Veneer (Andrew Rannells)—Branch and Poppy must embark on an emotional journey to reunite the brothers and rescue Floyd.
The returning cast of Kunal Nayyar as Guy Diamond and Emmy winning Saturday Night Live legend Kenan Thompson as Tiny Diamond, Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Zooey Deschanel as Bridget, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Gristle, the Icons pop duo Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt as Satin and Chenille, and Grammy winner Anderson .Paak as Prince D, and many more are in the running for Trolls 3.
The Trolls films series started in 2016 with the release of the first Trolls film. Following the second film, the series has expanded to include two spin-off children’s shows – Trolls: The Beat Goes On! on Netflix and TrollsTopia on both Hulu and Peacock – and two-holiday specials in Trolls Holiday and Trolls Holiday in Harmony, which premiered on NBC on November 26, 2021.
