I don’t think I have ever heard of spots on the street being owned by certain vendors or even bands. What I do know is that people usually choose their spots based on who gets there first. Well, an unhinged Los Angeles Karen didn’t like that a band got to a spot before her. Apparently, she is a street vendor who is used to working there, but the band took her spot. There was a crowd filming the entire situation which was honestly quite hilarious. Instead of finding another spot to work at, the woman decided to keep chasing the band around as they performed. The band is trying to stay focused, and you have to applaud them for keeping the performance going despite the running. Their lead singer is the one being chased and he probably lost some calories in that performance.
You can see the Los Angeles Karen running after the lead singer left and right as he tries to perform. He keeps dodging her as best as he can but she doesn’t want to give up. Instead of siding with her, people there were actually laughing at the way she was behaving. There was one man in a green t-shirt who tried to stop her, but she was quite determined. The woman was also carrying a sign where she wrote, “I may look like I’m the bad one but I have been doing the walk of fame star with with many tourists. I do photo shoots. They are trying to bully me.” I mean what I see here is that you are the one doing the bullying and not them. Instead of ruining their performance, she made more people enjoy it.
People Reacting to the Unhinged Los Angeles Karen
It is safe to say that no one found what the Los Angeles Karen was doing to be reasonable. In fact, people mostly mocked her. One person believed that she shouldn’t be harassing young kids as they wrote, “She needs to grow up.” Another person wrote how they would have reacted if they were there. “The way my foot would’ve stuck out while she’s running to make her trip.” That would probably make her spiral even more. Others were impressed by how the lead singer managed to keep his composure despite all the running he did. “This kid is ready for showbiz. He didn’t even miss a beat performing during his evade tactics…bravo!” one person wrote. Someone else said, “the breath control while he’s singing and running away.” They have got a point. It was impressive.
Some people also believed that the Los Angeles woman could have taken advantage of the band’s performance. “She’s a vendor and she didn’t take the opportunity to set up next to yall? Her loss,” one person wrote. Others saw that her behavior actually brought the band more attention. “She pretty much helped the band with more exposure because of her behavior,” someone said. Another person wrote, “She helped them get way more attention. Thanks Karen.” There was also one Redditor who found it weird that anyone would think that they own part of the street. “It’s crazy how many people think they own part of the sidewalk or street,” they wrote. Instead of being a Karen, she could have reacted differently. Now, people know her face and might choose not to deal with her at all.
